Will Putin strike the US because, just like Cheney, Obama demands Georgia & Ukraine join NATO?

Because it is in the U.S. and NATO's strategic interest to have Georgia and Ukraine in NATO. It's not about Russia, it's about protecting Europe from threats in the Middle East. If Ukraine and Georgia want to join NATO it is their business, not Russia's. Russia just wants to keep being the big bully in the region.
