Who owns steak and ale restaurants?

Steak and Ale originally started in 1966, then Norman Brinker grew the chain and sold it to Pillsbury, which owned Steak and Ale, and Bennigans. Pillsbuiry was bought out by Grand Metipolitan and Steak and Ale was bought out by it's top executives and became S&A Restaurant group, but a year later. Metro Media bought up 51 % stock of the chain. MetroMedia is owned by Rupert Murdock. MetroMedia Restuarant include Steak and Ale, Bennigans, Bennigans Grill & Tavern, Ponderosa and Bonanza Strak Houses, Bennigans Sport, 29 Degree Tavern, The South Lake Tavern, and Plano Tavern restaurants. Steak used to be a grat restaurant, but with the saturation and consolidation with the other chians, they started going with pre-made menu items, and ingredients, instead of making everything from scratch.
