Was this the most awkward elevator moment?

I had one the other day after coming from a movie. The elevator door was closing and an older couple in the elevator (in their 60's) thought they had the elevator to themselves. The door started closing and the woman wrapped her arms around the man's neck and started to kiss him. I pressed the on to stop the door closing, jumped in the elevator, and they looked at me with an embarred start. All I could think to say was "Good evening" with a provocative inflection.
