Best cheap yet reliable digital camera?

OK I need a new camera but I have a small buget of only about 70 quid max or $140. I would like a camera that doesn't break and is reliable so that I will not suddenly lose all my photos if it dies. I would like one with at least 5 megapixels. I have seen some for 4o quid but they are not well known makes.
